Owen: "I have been training since Monday and it has been really good and much better than I thought. I was worried that I would have a bit of pain the more I played but it has been great. I haven't spoken to Glenn in detail yet but I think it would probably be sensible after being out for five months to gradually give me maybe 20 minutes on Saturday and then more in the last game.
"I had a bit of experience of working with Glenn before when he was in Glenn Hoddle's backroom staff for England, and I took a liking to him straightaway. It's great that he is doing such a great job as he is now.
He has gone on a great run and put us in the top half of the league and pushing for Europe. Nobody would have believed that 10 games ago."
