He has no strength; isn't tall enough; ducks when he is put in a defensive wall at free-kicks; has the heart of a pea; and quite simply ... is NOT good enough for the Premier League or Newcastle United!

John Carver: “To concede a penalty in the manner we did is really annoying and frustrating.

“This week we spoke about how Man City push you high. They did that and we didn’t learn from that lesson.

“We had a chance to put the ball back in behind them and try to play out.

“Vurnon Anita gets caught in possession and before you know it you are 1-0 down so that’s difficult.

“Then the game settled and we started passing a little bit. Then all of a sudden we concede another goal.

“We had a free-kick, play it in midfield then lose possession. We don’t get the ball back and it’s in our net.

“Within the first 10 minutes you should try to stay in the game and stay in their half. We didn’t do that.”
