Solano: "Albert still needs time. We might not see the best of him this season but next year I hope that he will be a different player. He has had a difficult time, but he has had great support from the fans and I hope that continues.

"The situation the team has been in this season hasn't helped Albert to settle in but he will get there. He's a good player and we have to be patient. He was unfortunate when he first moved here with the bad injury he suffered and he just needs games now.

"He is doing well in training and he is working hard. But the pace of the game here is different, and he is not used to a lot of the things we do. I have explained to him about English football, the pace and the physical strength you need.

"It's relentless but that's the Premier League - that's how all the teams play. Albert wants to play and he wants to do his best. It has not happened yet but it will.

"There's a lot of pressure on him, it's always the same when a club has paid such a big fee. It's difficult for any player, especially when you come from abroad, but he understands the situation, he is a top man, and I hope that we can get him in the team and help him to do better."
