No Worry When Toon Drop Down The League

The Newcastle manager says we are lucky to have a week off, as the rest of the Premiership battle it out in midweek.

Everton have already knocked the Mags off top spot, and tonight's (Wednesday) games will see them fall further.

Plus our game with Aston Villa on Saturday is at 5:15, so we could officially be fighting a relegation battle by the time we kick-off.

Sam Allardyce: "I'm pleased for the break.

"Of course we will drop down the league, and a few clubs could have nine points by the time we kick-off, but we will be in great condition to face Villa.

"The players won't have their feet up for a week, but they will welcome the break.

"We will be ready."
