Sulaiman Al Fahim's takeover was completed this week, but that does not mean a thing to Beye because Newcastle still insist no player leaves until the club is in someone else's hands.
Beye was at the centre of an ugly confrontation which started on the Galpharm Stadium pitch on Tuesday and continued down the tunnel.
The 31-year-old was involved in an altercation with Andy Butler and Town captain Peter Clarke after the whistle went, with team-mates, coaching staff and stewards having to restrain the trio, and police also having to intervene as they headed to the dressing rooms.
