Newspaper Backtracks On Dyer 'Crocked' Allegations!

NU-Mad suggested Dyer should seek legal advice, because that was a report that could damage the player's career, and all for the benefit of some reporter who wanted an exclusive.

For the record, the Toon midfielder DID pass the medical and the West Ham backroom boys found no cause for complaint.

And today that very same newspaper claims:

"West Ham boss Alan Curbishley has resurrected a £6million deal for Kieron Dyer and the player is expected to sign within days.

"Dyer's move hit the buffers last week as Newcastle owner Mike Ashley said it would not go ahead unless the Hammers met their increased valuation.

"This time West Ham have agreed to make a £6m downpayment for Dyer, with more money added based upon appearances."

So what about the failed medical?
