Newcastle "Not Big Enough" For Klose?

... Miroslav Klose in the close season now the German striker has admitted he may leave Werder Bremen at the end of the season.

Alan Shearer is a huge fan of the German striker and he advised Glenn Roeder to make a move for him in the summer after the World Cup. But Werder were not interested in any of the offers that came their way. However they may be forced into selling their most prized asset in the summer, but Roeder will not be back looking to do business.

The 28-year-old is class sure enough, but with Michael Owen ready to return to action before the summer (hopefully), Roeder cannot wait to pair the England international with Oba Martins. And Klose does not include Newcastle in the five clubs he would listen to. They are AC Milan, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

Klose: "I would only consider five clubs. I follow almost all leagues and I know that I could play anywhere. I would find my feet with the physical approach in England, with the discipline in Italy or the technical Spanish league.

"On the one side, it would be interesting to make a change, but I also know that I am already at a big club and what I can still achieve with Werder.

"If I am to move, then a move abroad is the more appealing, but Bayern Munich is a big club and you can never tell what will happen."
