Newcastle Make Shambles Of Ticket Allocation!

According to the report: "the vast majority will reach fans in today's post, and the remainder should get them tomorrow."

However, anyone concerned about your season ticket not arriving after today should contact the club's Box Office in person or by calling (0191) 261 1571.

It will be open from 8am to 8pm today and tomorrow purely to deal with season ticket inquiries.

The ticket office in the South Stand will be open for non-season ticket holders wishing to buy tickets for the Bolton game and other fixtures currently on sale.

Fans who have not received their season tickets can contact the Box Office and ask for a replacement paper ticket for Saturday's home game against Bolton.

But requesting a paper ticket will result in your season ticket being automatically cancelled for Saturday's game - so if your card arrives AFTER you have requested a paper ticket for Bolton you MUST use the paper ticket to gain entry to the stadium.

All fans who do request duplicate paper tickets are also asked to collect these from the Box Office BEFORE Saturday if possible to avoid queues on the day.
Cash turnstiles 91 & 92 will also be in operation on Saturday, as well for those fans yet to buy tickets for the Bolton game and who would like to pay on the day.

Our NU Mad reporter - Dennis Taylor - says:

The club are blaming it on ''technical hitches'' in printing the smart cards, but we expected them in mid July!

Quite alot of fans have phoned the box office (if they were lucky enough to get through) asking why they had not received tickets when cheques and bank details had been cashed long ago.

We tried to phone the box office countless times before getting a recorded message saying ''you are 20th in the queue with a wait time of approx 30mins''.

Its an absolute joke!

There doesn''t seem to be any organisation in that box office, at all!
