Newcastle's Barclays Premiership trip to Liverpool has been rescheduled for Wednesday, September 20.
The match was originally pencilled in as Newcastle's first away trip of the season, the Wednesday following the visit of Wigan on the opening day of the season.
Newcastle United have confirmed they will play their Intertoto Cup tie against either Keflavik or Lillestrom at St James' Park on Saturday, July 15.
The game will kick off at 5pm with the Magpies travelling to either Iceland or Norway a week later.
Manager Glenn Roeder will be in Norway this weekend checking out the two sides.
