I know for a fact Sam Allardyce has not been impressed Oba's attitude, and rumour around the club is that the Toon boss will listen to offers for the striker.
Berti Vogts has been named as the new boss of Nigeria and Martins said: "I want to impress the new boss".
But perhaps his priority lies in the wrong place, because Allardyce is the man he NEEDS to impress, and so far he hasn't done that.
News that Mark Viduka is heading to Newcastle, and Allardyce is ready to go head-to-head with Manchester United for Bolton striker Nicolas Anelka says quite a lot about Martins' future.
The much traveled former Arsenal, Real Madrid, Paris St-Germain, Liverpool, Manchester City, Fenerbahce, and now Bolton player looks to be on the move again.
