Bradford City are flying high in League One once again, and lie in fourth place with almost half of the campaign behind them.

The 21-year-old forward has appeared regularly for Stuart McCall’s side, but his performances have begun to attract attention from clubs higher up the football pyramid, with The Newcastle Chronicle reporting that Hull City, Millwall and Sunderland are keen on a January move for the player.

Whether a move materialise depends on the Magpies willingness to sell, but Bradford fans will be sweating heading into the new year.

Gilliead looks to be a Championship level player, and the trio of clubs willing to take the player on all seem extremely keen to secure his signature.

Newcastle may decide that the player’s time at St James’ Park has run its course, but it is likely the Magpies will play hardball with fierce rivals Sunderland over any potential deal.

That paves the way for Hull and Millwall to battle it out for his signature, with both sides set to fight a relegation battle this season.

Perhaps Gilliead will be given a say in his final destination, and may opt to continue his progress in League One with promotion-chasing Bradford.
