Mackems Robbed? Says Who?

Yeh the Mackems shaded the first-half, but I thought we did enough for a point in the second period.

It's one thing making chances, but the difference between winning the title and being relegated is how often you tuck away the chances that come your way.

Sky TV insist on stuffing facts down our throats ... "they had 54% possession and five attempts at goal", as though it means something.

You can have 98% possession and 165 attempts at goal, but if you don't get past their goalkeeper, and the opposition gets past yours ... you're KNACKERED!

Now that's a FACT for Andy Gray and his computer.

Roy Keane was left to rue missed chances, and if you haven't got the strike power to put them away ... you're gannin' doon!

Keane: "Yes, if you look at the chances and the way we played, but if we keep missing the chances we did, it is very hard to win any game.

"If you look at the chances and the performance, I think Sam (Allardyce) will probably be slightly happier than me tonight.

"But I am pleased with the performance and the attitude of the players and the spirit with which they played.

"The priority for any derby match is certainly don't lose it, and we did not do that, so we will take the pluses."
