Saxton, who was Peter Reid's number two and was initially part of Roy Keane's backroom staff at the Stadium of Light, has been lined up to come into the Magpies' scouting network.He will be joined by Allardyce's former chief scout at Bolton and Blackpool, Jack Chapman. Newcastle are also known to be hoping to bring in a new European scout and it is unclear how the changes will affect current chief scout David Mills.
