Portsmouth will be without striker Tresor Lomana Lua Lua for several weeks after he was confined to a hospital isolation unit with malaria! So obviously his hopes has lining up against his old club on Saturday have gone up in smoke.
The former Bobby Robson signing, who missed Pompey's recent clashes against Gillingham and Bolton, collapsed in training and was taken to hospital.
Lua Lua has been diagnosed with the parasitic disease, which he is now believed to have contracted while playing for DR Congo earlier this month.
Malaria is not contagious but can take several weeks to recover from in order as parasites in the liver are killed.
