"It gives me 18 months from now. The contract is something I am happy with, and I hope we can go forward with the team and the squad we have got and start challenging for things.
"It's potentially a massive club. We should be winning things. We have got a great fan base and a great stadium and some great players - it is just a case of tying it all together and kicking on.
"They have been trying to do that for a long time at this club, I know that. But we have got potential here, and I want to be part of that for the future.
"I had a point to prove because it did not go too well in the first year.
"But it is all going well at the minute, and I am happy."
