Camara has joined the Yorkshire club on a season-long loan from Lens, but Peter Reid obviously isn’t planning to ease him gently into Premiership life.
"I think I will be in the first-team otherwise I would not have come here,” said the 24-year-old.
"I have spoken a lot to coach Peter Reid and he has already told me about Leeds' first match with Newcastle.
"He has said to me: 'I don't want to see Shearer. You make sure he does not exist on the pitch'.
"I am now really eager to start the new season. Playing against Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool - it is going to be crazy."
Presumably Reid hasn’t told Camara that scoring against Leeds is one of Shearer’s favourite pastimes, having scored nine times against them since moving to Newcastle.
