Joe Kinnear: "I feel him making an announcement is a step forward. First and foremost we don't have to keep answering questions about who is buying the club. It's been one buyer after another, but the same answer has always come back as another one pulls out.
"I think he deserves a second chance and the opportunity to come back and watch the team play. I think we need to draw a line under it because we need to get him back on board. Then we can sit down and discuss the future of the club and the direction we're going in."
