Joe Kinnear had a bad weekend. His team selection against Wigan had Michael Owen shuffling his arse on the bench and the fans fuming; and he dropped two points in game he described as "must win".

A fan tried to get to him as Joe sat in the dug-out, and we saw the first signs of tension in the Newcastle camp under his interim management.

This is NOT a happy camp, but it could come to an end very soon because Kinnear says "the club will be sold within two weeks" and he expects the manager's job to go to someone else.

Joe Kinnear: "I am confident Michael (Owen) will play an important part for the rest of the campaign. I would like to think so. But I don't know the situations, you are asking if I will still be here. If I am here he is the last person I want to leave. He is priceless. Simple as that.
