Kevin Keegan is being linked with a sensational return to management ... at Sunderland!

The former England boss has been out of the game since leaving Manchester City last season. But now according to The Sunday Express the Mackems, see him as the man to spark an unlikely revival on Wearside.

We can confirm Keegan HAS been approached, and if the Geordie hero was to get the job at the Stadium of Light it would cause a sensation in the North East.

The pressure on current boss Mick McCarthy is growing after his side were beaten 1-0 at home by Everton on Saturday after spurning a host of chances. And according to The Express, chairman Bob Murray is ready to take action with his team having lost 11 of their last 12 matches.
