The former Toon midfielder is hoping to help Tottenham into the UEFA Champions League and he wants Fabio Capello to notice him ... so he can reclaim his place in the England squad.
Jermaine Jenas: "If you look at our squad and the amount of internationals we have got in our team, and the depth that we have, it's phenomenal.
"The chairman and the manager have spent the money wisely and have started to build a really good squad. I think most teams look at us as a threat and as a team that can break into the top four
"I'm really enjoying my time at Spurs. I think my game has been developing year in, year out and this is where I call home now. I'm happy.
"I think it's probably the most difficult position to get into in the squad.
"It's probably the strongest part of the England team, the midfield, and in terms of getting back in it; I think it's important I just keep playing the way I am for Spurs, creating as much as I can.
"I have always said that your club is your bread and butter and if you do well, Fabio Capello is a man who doesn't let things go unnoticed. He comes to watch games, so hopefully I can impress for Spurs and get a chance."
