It wasn’t such a bad day (part two)

Our old ‘friends’ Internazionale suffered a 1-0 defeat in the Milan derby, with Filippo Inzaghi scoring the winner midway through the second half.

Inter also had Ivan Cordoba red-carded for a bad foul on Serginho as they lost ground in the Serie A title race.

The result leaves Juventus five points ahead of both the Milan teams in the table, with a chance to make it an eight-point gap when they play their game in hand against Bologna on Sunday.

After the game Inter boss Hector Cuper conceded: "In the first-half I saw an excellent Inter Milan. We played very well. But after half-time we tired and were caught out.

"We struggled to hold possession in the second-half. Once Cordoba was sent-off, it became too difficult.

"If Juve wins tomorrow it becomes an almost impossible deficit to make up."
