Burnley striker Danny Ings, who has just been named in England's Under-21 squad for the European Championship, is also out of contract at the end of the month and is in talks with Liverpool, although negotiations are not advanced.
Liverpool chairman Tom Werner arrived on Merseyside on Tuesday to sort out potential transfer targets, and Ings is expected to be on that list.
