Ince The Key To Roeder Future!

Roeder has a poor managerial record, make no mistake about it. Relegated with Watford and West Ham, 92nd in the league when Gillingham sacked him, and Newcastle were worse off AFTER he left the club.

But he is still a legend at Loftus Road, having skippered them to the FA Cup final as a player. And if QPR turn him down ... he will soon become a distant memory ... because this is the one and only chance he will get from a top club.

MK Dons boss Paul Ince has played down rumours linking him with the vacant manager's job at Queens Park Rangers, but the bookies see it another way.

The former England international joined the Dons in the summer and has guided them to the top of the League Two table.

Rangers are looking for a new manager after sacking John Gregory earlier this month and Ince is believed to be on the Championship strugglers' shortlist.

However, Ince has angrily rejected the speculation and insists he is focused on the job in hand at MK Dons

"Someone's in a job and they obviously look at managers who are doing okay and just put two and two together and put it in the papers," Ince told the Milton Keynes Citizen

"And all of a sudden you just get speculation about nothing really.

"We're trying to do a job here, we don't need speculation like that to disrupt what we're trying to do at this club."
