Brighton & Hove Albion go into Saturday's Premier League match with Newcastle in desperate need of three points as they bid to avoid relegation.

The Seagulls are three points ahead of third-from-bottom Cardiff with three games remaining each.

Albion face Arsenal and Manchester City after Saturday, so will look at this game as a vital three points.

The pressure is on former Newcastle manager Chris Hughton and he could be playing his old club for the last time.

Brighton have failed to score in seven successive games, while Newcastle have already sealed their Premier League safety for another season.

The game gets underway from the Amex at 5.30pm and will be shown live on BT Sport 1.

Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez is unlikely to make too many changes from last week's 3-1 win over Southampton when Ayoze Perez scored a hat-trick.

Fabian Schar limped off in the win against Saints so is a doubt for Saturday's match and Newcastle will be without injured trio Miguel Almiron, Sean Longstaff and Florian Lejeune for the game.
