Chris Hughton: “He is a player who has come in and done very well for us.
“He has played three games on the spin, having been out for a month with injury.
“I felt in midweek against QPR he dipped a little bit towards the end of the game, and when you have a squad, you have to use it.
“We know Lovenkrands is a different type of player, and I just felt at home we could freshen things up a little bit.”
