Hughton Dangling By A Thread!

He met Mike Ashley yesterday, and in truth .... he knows less now than he did before Ashley opened his gob!

He is a puppet on a string, plodding along keeping a straight face, while Ashley sells his best players and keeps him in the dark.

Will he buy players this transfer window? WILL HE SHITE! But he BELIEVES he WILL!

The problem with Hughton is that he isn't MAN enough to say "enough is enough"! Anyone else would.

Kevin Keegan walked the walk; Alan Shearer refused to be Ashley's door-mat; but Hughton picks up his wages and takes the shit.

Steven Taylor could be the next Toon player on his way, as he is reportedly a target for Liverpool, Everton and Aston Villa, but Hughton is adamant that the 23-year-old defender still features prominently in his plans.

Does Hughton know anything about it? I doubt it.

Has he any say in the matter? NO!

Hughton: "With Steven, it is just very much speculation.

"He has been involved in the first two games and played very well, and he will be involved [against Sheffield Wednesday on Wednesday] as well.

"It would be fair to say that we have spoken very much about the possibility of what could happen over this couple of weeks, as regards bringing players in.

"As to doing anything positive in the way of bringing players in, nothing has happened yet.

"But I am quite sure that whenever the right time is to make a judgement call, that will be done.

"You certainly have to make plans that, if you are to lose one or two players, there have to be replacements.

"Yes, there have been talks, but any names will be kept very much in-house."

All in all ... the only players that could possibly arrive ... WILL BE LOAN DEALS!
