Marcelino - missed 106 games with a broken finger
Well, I'm sure these two wouldn't "do a Marcelino" to skip games ... would they?
Newcastle United will be without Loic Remy and Mathieu Debuchy for at least three matches.
Leading goalscorer Remy has a calf complaint that is likely to keep him out until the end of the month, while full-back Debuchy is expected to miss the next four fixtures with a groin injury.
Alan Pardew has no complaints, and is happy to rest them.
But, let's be honest ... he doesn't want John Carver to get better results or better performances than he does, now does he.
The LAST thing Pardew needs right now is Carver becoming a crowd favourite.
