Taylor: "The first games will be difficult against Hartlepool and Doncaster. They're never easy, especially early on in pre-season.
"We've got to put in a good performance, get some fitness out of it, and win the game.
"We want to get that winning mentality.
"We've got some big games coming up. We're going to Spain, and then back for PSV and Valencia.
"Then we've got an easy game to start the season against Manchester United.
"They'll be missing Ronaldo, but whether that's going to be a help or not, we'll have to wait and see.
"It's going to be difficult, obviously, going to Old Trafford."
