Tottenham have confirmed the appointment of Harry Redknapp as manager following the sacking of Juande Ramos last night.

The worrying aspect is that Spurs ... the only side below us in the league ... are actually DOING something about their plight ... while we wait on Ashley getting 'his finger out' selling the club.
OK, we need the right consortium to take over, but NOTHING can be worse than the situation we find ourselves in.Second bottom, defeat to the Mackems on their own park for the first time in 28 years, and a stand-in boss ... can things get any worse?
The struggling London club have set a foothold for the furure, and have agreed a compensation package of around £5million with Pompey to bring in Redknapp immediately.
Spurs, bottom of the Premier League, have acted swiftly after axing Ramos, while we have been in limbo for months!
One thing is certain, expect Sam Allardyce to be linked to the Portsmouth job.
They considered him before Redknapp got the job.
