Hughton will make a decision on whether Martins should continue when he decides his team for Chelsea, when Owen could be recalled to the starting XI.

Chris Hughton: "We have a debrief on the game afterwards, and we spoke about a lot of things.

"On the penalty, we wanted the goal to go in - everyone did - but it didn't, and we've to get on with it.

"He's a striker, and if you're a striker and you have an opportunity to score, you want to do it. You will find most good strikers just need to get on with it.

"I've been at the club for a while, and I don't know which foot is his strongest. That's not a negative - it's a positive. This is a lad who can get equally as much power from both feet."
