Sir John Hall: "We've got a magnificent stadium. The whole basis of the club is there.
"It's just been getting the manager right. Hopefully that will happen. He's given everyone hope again.
"I was astounded. I never saw him coming back into the game but now he's made that decision, it's a fascinating appointment.
"There is a buzz about the place.
"I was there and he's certainly given people hope again.
"There's a great expectancy he can revive the club as he did the first time he came as a manager.
"It's great news for the club and I hope he can do it."
