Craig, of Jubilee Road, Fawdon, Newcastle, is a member of the Toon’s hooligan firm, nicknamed the Gremlins.

He was part of a Magpies mob said to have plotted a dust-up with Stoke City rivals in Wrekenton, Gateshead, and he was arrested at an away match at Manchester United, in March 2006.

Aged just 17, he was hit with a £50 fine and a three-month parental referral order at Trafford Juvenile Court.

The following December, he got a caution for an offence of battery in a Newcastle city centre takeaway, which saw a reveller left with a cut eye.

And after an away game at Arsenal, in August 2008, Craig was found in possession of cocaine and cautioned, having admitted buying it in King’s Cross earlier that day.

PC Steve Graham: “Craig is clearly an individual who attends football to get involved in disorder.

“The making of a football banning order against Craig will show his type of behaviour will not be tolerated in respect of football matches and will act as a deterrent to others, thereby helping to prevent disorder, at or in connection with regulated football matches.”
