It had been thought that the controversial tackle, that took place in the build up to Everton’s winning penalty in the 2-1 defeat at Goodison Park, would be referred to the FA’s video review panel.
However referee Neale Barry has claimed that he saw the incident and thought it wasn’t worthy of any action.
Or to put it more succinctly, Barry admitted that he has no idea what he is doing.
