Gosling Gets Personal Hearing

Dan Gosling faces an FA ban after admitting multiple breaches of gambling rules.

Players are not only banned from betting on their own team, but are also prohibited from gambling on the competitions which they themselves are involved in.

He claims put on accumulator bets purely because of 'boredom'.

The breaches were reported to the Football Association AFTER he won £5,000 on an accumulator with an online betting firm.

Gosling has requested a personal hearing with the FA next Wednesday to plead his case, while his agent David Hodgson has described his actions as 'simple naivety'.

Gosling has already donated his £5,000 winnings to charity, while giving a further £1,250 Gift Aid contribution to his old club in Brixham.

Always the same old stories, whether its bookies, insurance brokers, or the like ... as long as they are taking YOUR money - no problem!

But (as in Gosling's case), once you take money off THEM ... the rules change.
