Gloryseekers Didn't Have All Their Own Way In Toon!

Obviously we all had a laugh at the news on TV that Man Utd fans from SEAHAM had missed their flight to Moscow because of a burst tyre on the motorway.

Mackems are one thing ... but Mackems supporting Man Utd?

The bars in the Haymarket were full of Gloryseekers, and a spot check in the Crows Nest found they came from Newcastle, Burnley, York, Belfast, Hull and Harrowgate. And you guessed right ... not one from Manchester.

When Ronaldo scored they were showered with beer from the direction of a group of Toon fans, and sadly we were kicked out at half-time for singing Newcastle and anti-Man Utd songs. Which we thought was a bit strong, because after all, we were in Newcastle!

Apparently "We support our local team" is an anti-Manc song and we were told to "go sing it in another Newcastle pub".

So it was off to the Goose, and again the Mancs took a bit off stick from "Chelsea fans for a night" who were actually Toon and Liverpool fans. Just wanting Man Utd to get beat ... and not that fussy who beat them.

But a good night ... as Newcastle always is! The party capital of the world.
