Apparently Nottingham Forest was "not a big enough club" for the former England boss.
Such a shame that Brian Clough didn't ever get the opportunity to boss England, because he didn't find Forest TOO SMALL.

Today we read that McClaren is on his way back to Holland to take over as FC Twente manager for the second time ... and that's probably the best place for him ... out of the country.
McClaren is poised to take over from current coach Co Adriaanse.
Adriaanse is set for the sack after just over six months at the helm of the Enschede club, who currently sit third in the table.
Twente are yet to officially confirm 50-year-old McClaren's appointment but he is expected to be unveiled in the near future.
