Given Plays Against Hull!

Kinnear has confirmed the 32-year-old will be in the starting line-up, and he is likely to be joined by defender Sebastien Bassong after he completed his one-match ban.

Nicky Butt (cramp), and Jose Enrique (calf) have a chance of making the game at the KC Stadium, but the Magpies otherwise have a lengthy casualty list.

Habib Beye (ankle) could be sidelined for 12 weeks, while Claudio Cacapa and Joey Barton (both knee), Obafemi Martins, Mark Viduka (groin), Shola Ameobi (hamstring), Alan Smith (foot) and Ignacio Gonzalez (Achilles) are all out.
