Getting Rid Of Babayaro May Not Be Easy

He became the target of the Boo-Boys at one stage last season when he failed to show any commitment to Newcastle United on the field or off it.

Sam Allardyce tried to shift the full-back in the summer with no club showing an interest. And as the transfer window came to a close Celestine was in his usual state ... injured!

So that ruled out any last minute move ... not that any was on the cards.

It is thought Big Sam will try again in the January transfer window, but our source in St James' Park claims Babayaro has no intention of going anywhere unless a club can match his wages. And that just about closes the door.

We've been there before, of course, with the likes of Marcelino and Albert Luque. And when a player wants to see out his contract in the comfort of the medical room, there is little anyone can do about it.
