Sunderland-born Charlotte Crosby took to Twitter to call the former sporting star a “w**nker” scum and a “f***ing t**t”.
But the comment caused numerous Toon fans to react angrily, with one calling the 24-year-old “brainless”.
One Newcastle United supporter said: “This is just rank obscenity from Charlotte Crosby. Alan Shearer is one of this city’s most famous sons.
“She has made her name in a show called Geordie Shore, but her tweet was crude and insulting to Alan Shearer and to Geordies everywhere.
“It is ironic that she created a media profile for herself off the back of a programme called Geordie Shore, and yet she is quite happy to tweet brainless insults about one of the most famous Geordies.
“Most Newcastle supporters won’t give two hoots about this, we lost to Sunderland fair and square and will take it on the chin.”
