The 38-year glamour girl-turned presenter, from Bedlington, will compere the SAFC Foundation's Fashion Strikes fundraiser at the Stadium of Light on November .

Jayne, as we all know, is Newcastle United DAFT! She loves the Toon, just as the lads from the Toon Army love her.

I would like to promote her Yoga video, which I borrowed from my girlfriend. And I would suggest you watch the deep-breathing excercises ... and the errrr bit when she's on the floor ... and her swimming costume goes a bit que-wiff 34 minutes and 23 seconds into the video.

A remarkable piece of footage, that would have been better if the cameraman had kept the camera from shaking.

Anyway ... she is of course an experienced presenter, her credits including Top of the Pops, Radio 1, She's Gotta Have it, Robot Wars and the BBC's coverage of the Glastonbury Festival.

This year Jayne took part in BBC2's Celebrity Masterchef, and was crowned champion, and she won Celebrity Love Island in 2005.

Fashion Strikes is an annual fundraiser for SAFC Foundation, the registered charity of Sunderland AFC.

There will also be an auction where guests will be able to bid for unique prizes, including "lunch with SAFC players". Which we take to mean a burger from Rob's Burger Van outside the Stadium Of Shite.

But come on ... its for CHARIDDY ... and we hope Jayne has a wonderful evening.

What I'd give to see her turn up in a Toon shirt!

Tickets for Fashion Strikes are £110 each, or £1,000 for a table of 10. To book, call 551 5191.
