Do you ever take Gazza seriously? Acting the clown as a player is one think, but as a manager?

Kettering owner Imraan Ladak has sacked manager Paul Gascoigne. The ex-Toon midfielder has just been at the club 39 days as manager. Ladak looks set to restore former boss Kevin Wilson to the helm.

Ladak: "Paul made me an offer to buy the club this morning but I'll tell you this now, I would not sell Kettering Town FC for £100million of Roman Abramovich's money.

"I have been extremely disappointed with the way things have worked out with Paul, but I don't want to elaborate too much. He's left as manager because things have simply not worked out. Paul is a great character but certain things have made it very difficult to forge a successful working relationship with him."
