So it’s good to hear that young United full back Joe Kendrick is much in demand, despite Sir Bobby’s decision that he no longer has a future at the club.
The Republic of Ireland Under-19 international is currently on a week’s trial with former InterToto Cup opponents TSV 1860 Munich (you must remember Nobby’s goal) with a view to moving to the Bundesliga.
Kendrick has also had a trial with Hartlepool and has had interest from Sheffield United, Sheffield Wednesday Norwich City and Plymouth Argyle.
