Moussa Sissoko says he will be “back soon”.
Fans were growing concerned that Sissoko (like Loic Remy and Mathieu Debuchy) were more focused on getting fit ahead of the World Cup.
But with four games left it seems he will play again before the season ends ... or so he says.
As for the other two ... God knows.
They were expected to be out for two weeks, but that passed some time ago.
Sissoko has not featured since pulling a hamstring in the dire 4-0 defeat at Southampton, and has been allowed to return to France for treatment.
Mathieu Debuchy has failed to shake off his own hamstring problems, and was ... errrr ... like Remy ... allowed to return to France.
Well hit me with a shit stick.
And Alan Pardew lets them get away with it.
