Former Toon Player Says Rooney Could Quit!

Last updated : 07 September 2010 By Footy Mad - Editor

And at last there is a player who points out that ... shagging prostitutes, your mate's bird, or some slapper with the News Of The World on speed-dial ... is not what the fans want to read about.

These players only have themselves to blame, and if they want to pull the plug on an international career to go shagging down their local brothel ... let them PISS OFF and give a chance to those kids who keep themselves in order.

Apathetic adulterer Wayne Rooney’s marriage has nose-dived further into the abyss after wife Coleen told him: “I don’t need you anymore.”

This is all in the aftermath of revelations that Rooney bedded £1,200 call girl Jenny Thompson while Coleen was pregnant with their son Kai.

A family-destroying act of treachery if ever there was one, and one that he apparently shrugged off as “no big deal”.

On hearing the horrifying news, Coleen immediately fled to her parents, who are understandably fuming with the Man United striker.

So furious are they that he’s been banned from entering their home, with dad Tony raging: “He is never, ever setting foot in this house again.”

Rooney is the latest big name to be hit by lurid allegations over his private life, the latest in a miserable line that includes John Terry, Ashley Cole and Peter Crouch this year alone.

James Milner: "Every individual is different.

"I would rather be under pressure because it means that things are going in the right direction on the football field.

"But some people might turn round and say, 'I have had enough, I don't need that'.

"Obviously thousands of people come every week and there are kids with your name on the back of their shirt.

"They obviously look up to you so you try to set standards on and off the field.

"We are very privileged to be representing this country and whatever job you do there will be things you like and things you don't.

"I would never do anything to affect my football, even if it was playing golf too close to a game or something like that.

"Football always comes first with me.

"I just decided not to drink when I was growing up.

"There is nothing wrong with it. There is a time and a place for everything.

"I just felt it was something I never really needed or wanted to do.

"If it could help me as a footballer I would do it."
