For Those Interersted ... It Would Have Been Liverpool!

We crashed out of the Carling Cup on Wednesday to holders Tottenham Hotspur, and although it is water under the Tyne now ... the draw would have had us face seven-time winners Liverpool.
Liverpool now travel to White Hart Lane.

The Mackems and Blackburn, managed by former Manchester United stars Roy Keane and Paul Ince respectively, will also face each other at the Stadium of Light.

CARLING CUP

Sunderland v Blackburn
Arsenal v Wigan
Chelsea v Burnley
Swansea v Watford
Man Utd v QPR
Stoke v Rotherham
Brighton/Derby v Leeds
Tottenham v Liverpool

All ties are to be played during the week commencing November 10.
