First team pair to play for Reserves

Titus Bramble will tonight return to action when he plays for the reserves at Villa Park.

Having been out since pre-season with an injured hamstring the ex-Ipswich man will partner Ronny Johnsen in a bid to prove his fitness ahead of Sunday’s clash with Charlton Athletic.

The central defender now finds himself stuck with the ‘error prone’ tag and will be hoping that he can rid himself of this unwanted association with some solid performances on his return to the first team. Bramble has shown great promise in a black ‘n’ white shirt. He is strong, quick, reads the game well and has excellent distribution with either foot. Playing alongside a quality partner would reduce the pressure and hopefully see Titus relax and make those often fatal errors a thing of the past.
