Fans New Anti-Ashley Website

Newcastle United fans have come up with a genius way to annoy chairman Mike Ashley.

The Toon army have fiercely protested the retail giant’s ownership, as they fume over his lack of spending in the transfer market and accuse him of ‘killing’ their beloved club.

And it appears enough is enough for Newcastle fans, who have found a new way to display their loathing for Ashley – by sabotaging his billion-pound business.

Supporters are sharing a website – SportsRedirect.com – which encourages people to find alternative shops to purchase sportswear, rather than Ashley-owned Sports Direct.

Newcastle fans have been urging others to boycott the sportwear giant for years over Ashley’s ownership.

Some have even accused Ashley of misleading fans and ‘stealing’ club revenue by apparently turning the official club shop at St James’ Park into a Sports Direct store, with some taking their grievance to Newcastle City Council.
