Stephane Henchoz says the prospect of facing his former Liverpool team-mate Michael Owen on Saturday could give him sleepless nights. The Swiss international played alongside the England star for the Merseysiders when the pair won the treble in 2001 as they walked away with the Worthington Cup, FA Cup and UEFA Cup.
Henchoz failed to settle in Scotland and is now back in the Premiership with.
Henchoz: "It is just going to be a case of whoever is nearest will have to pick him up. That will be either myself or Adrian de Zeeuw but everyone will have to help out. I have played against Michael in training and this experience will certainly help. Michael is very dangerous, very quick and very difficult to play against though so I know how hard it is going to be."
"I understand why he is back because he wants regular football and Newcastle can offer him that. Players like Michael need regular football, and now he is getting it he will also get goals. He is undoubtedly one of the best in the Premiership."
