... like so many who graduate through the Youth ranks, Steve Caldwell struggled to make the grade in the Premiership. Now Roy Keane is set to sell him to fellow Championship promotion chasing Burnley.

Born in Stirling, Steve arrived at SJP along with his brother Gary in 1998. He roke into the side in 2000/01 and scored the winner in the Worthington Cup came against Bradford City, and was good enough to become a Scottish international at a very young age. But he just lacked a little bit of class to become a true Premiership player, and signed for Sunderland in 2004 and was made skipper.

But now he is heading to Turf Moor as his contract expires at the end of the season and Roy Keane, who is building for Premiership football at the Stadium of *hite,  will not offer him a new deal.

The deal is said to be for £400,000.
