Jose Enrique, who missed the Bristol City game with a hamstring problems sustained in training, will be back to face Nottingham Forest at the weekend.

The Spaniard was at fault for QPR's goal last Wednesday, but Chris Hughton inststs he did not drop the player.

Chris Hughton: ”He was very much touch and go.

“He had a fitness test, and just missed out.

“I expect him to be fit for the next game.

“Danny Simpson has also been carrying a knock.

“I told him I was going to play him at left-back, and he was enthusiastic and just delighted to be playing.

“Overall, he deputised very well.”
